Donald Trump clearly didn’t write this social media post

Social media has already been abuzz with speculation that Donald Trump is clearly having other people post on his Truth Social profile, and the clearest sign yet being that he was making idiotic remarks about his new trial while he was attending his late sister’s funeral. I became rather suspicious myself when he appeared to have posted a long and thoughtful tribute to the late Rosalynn Carter which essentially expressed emotions – namely empathy – that we’ve never seen the former guy exhibit – even when he seemed happy during his rallies.

We basically got even further confirmation of that during his last Iowa rally, when sure enough, Donald Trump made mention of her surviving husband, former President Jimmy Carter. Rather than give any tribute in words (something that pretty much every former president has done upon the passing of a late president or first lady without any hint of controversy), Trump just kept his focus on President Carter – and the favorite Republican trope of calling the 39th POTUS a failure: “The happiest person anywhere in this country right now is Jimmy Carter because his administration looked brilliant compared to these clowns.”

If that sounds like an unbelievably venomous way to address someone grieving the loss of their significant other, that’s because it is. Of course, there’s the possibility he wasn’t aware of her passing when he made these words – but that’s honestly the only way this whole situation could be even worse. We’re beyond where we should when it comes to talking about the former guy’s cognitive decline, and with nearly a year to go, we’re only going to see how much more of a demented sociopath Donald Trump truly is.
