Kamala Harris Is Starting to Sound a Little Crazy

Vice President Kamala Harris stands in denial of her lousy polling.

FiveThirtyEight puts her solidly in the basement at 40.2% approval, and her disapproval rating stands at 51.2%. Her popularity has been in the tank since at least October 2021.

That’s news to Kamala Harris.

“There are reports that you have the lowest approval rating of any vice president,” ABC News’ Linsey Davis told Harris. “How much of a role, if any, that you feel that race and gender play in that?”

Harris had a -17 net approval rating in a June NBC News poll, the worst in that poll’s history.

Kamala Harris Can’t Hide From the Polls

Race or gender has very little role in being ridiculed for habitually making dumb comments.

Just ask Dan Quayle, who had an even higher disapproval rating than Harris. Quayle had a 59% disapproval rating in the spring of 1992.

Harris rebutted Davis without any evidence to back her up, saying, “Well, there are polls that also say I have great approval ratings. I think the point that has to be made is that there are attempts to create distractions away from the accomplishments of our administration.

“We’ve created over 13 million jobs since we’ve been in office. Joe Biden and I have been responsible for 800,000 new manufacturing jobs in the United States, not to mention what we have done to restore America’s integrity on the international stage.”

Republicans Challenge Harris to Back Up Claim

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer challenged Harris to name one such poll.

“There are literally zero polls showing Kamala Harris with ‘great approval ratings,’” GOP rapid response director Jake Schneider tweeted. He went on to share the numbers from NBC’s poll and asked, “Was this one of the ‘great’ polls she was talking about?”

Schneider tweeted a picture of the NBC News poll showing her with a 32% approval rating.

Harris Gaffes Trying to Make Herself Sound Smart

She infamously made a serious gaffe while talking about AI in July, saying, “Part of this issue that should be articulated is that AI is this fancy thing. First of all, it’s two letters. It means artificial intelligence,” Harris said while laughing her head off. “Ultimately what it is it’s about machine learning, and so the machine is taught.”

Harris’ former Senate colleague Sen. John Kennedy said last month Harris makes dumb remarks because she tries too hard to sound intelligent.

“Fox News Across America” host Jimmy Failla suggested that Harris has some serious insecurities and that is why she is unpopular.

“She’s obviously very uncomfortable in her own skin. That’s why you get all of the redundancy and the infantilizing language,” Failla said.
