Police: Man shot in the neck in Brooklyn; suspect at large

Police say a man is in critical condition Wednesday after getting shot in the neck in Brooklyn.

According to police, two men were involved in a possible dispute just before 7:30 a.m. at around the Gates and Nostrand avenues.

The situation escalated and a 36-year-old man was shot once in the neck. He was taken to treatment in critical condition.

The suspect fled on foot.
