Michael Cohen and the Trump Organization just cut a deal to settle his lawsuit over unpaid legal bills

• Michael Cohen and the Trump Organization cut a deal to settle his lawsuit.
• The terms are confidential, the lawyers said in a Friday morning court hearing.
• The case, over unpaid legal bills, was supposed to go to trial next week.

The Trump Organization cut a deal with Michael Cohen to settle his $1.3 million lawsuit. 

The amount of money the Trump Organization will pay to Cohen as a part of the settlement is confidential, lawyers for both parties said in a court hearing Friday morning.

Cohen, Trump’s former “fixer,” had sued his old boss’s company over a dispute about legal fees and was set to take the case to trial next week.
