War On Ukraine: Microchip Shortage Hurts Russia’s War Machine

Microchips are in just about everything these days from microwaves to cellphones to the missiles Russia is launching into Ukraine and a current shortage of them has Moscow’s military scrambling for answers. Along with the United States and its allies stopping the sale of microchips to Russia, the worldwide output of chips has seen a dramatic drop following the coronavirus pandemic. FOX’s John Saucier speaks with Chris Miller, assistant professor of international history at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and author of ‘CHIP WAR: The Fight for the World’s Most Critical Technology’, about the microchip supply chain issues causing problems for Russian forces.
