Will The VP Debate “Move the Needle?”
The CBS News Vice Presidential Debate featured many tense moments between Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. While the VP picks were peppered with questions on policies, the moderators quickly confronted Vance on his past statements about Haitian immigrants and childless women. However, Vance’s steady performance allowed him to question Vice President Harris’ record while scrutinizing Walz’s history of progressive politics that could unnerve moderates and independents in key swing states. FOX News Radio’s Josh Kraushaar joined the Rundown to discuss why Vance likely came out on top in this debate and what that could mean for 2024 voters come November. On Tuesday, Iran responded by launching the largest ballistic missile attack in history on the nation of Israel. As the region threatens to tip into wider war, FOX News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst is looking back at the dark day that sparked this conflict in his book, “Black Saturday.” Trey joins to discuss how his book explores both Israeli and Palestinian perspectives and the need for journalists to cover the truths and realities of war.
