While on the campaign trail, President-elect Donald Trump laid many ideas for his plans to try and transform the economy. Plans included tax relief, toughening tariffs on certain countries, tackling inflation and expanding corporate deregulation. The markets reacted positively to the election results and many CEOs are excited with Trump’s nominee for Treasury Secretary but others worry his ideas on tariffs could raise prices even more. FOX’s Tonya J. Powers speaks with Chris Markowski, financial expert and host of the ‘Watchdog on Wall Street’ podcast and radio show, about the various plans the new administration has for the economy and shares his thoughts on their possible impact.
