Extra: Taken By The Taliban

Spread the news

Ryan Corbett, an American businessman, moved to Afghanistan in 2010 with his family
and became actively involved in the community. In August 2022, he, along with several others, was captured and detained by the Taliban after returning to the country to renew his business visa and pay his employees. Since then, his wife, Anna Corbett, has advocated for his release and pleaded with the Biden administration for assistance. Earlier this week, Anna joined Rundown host Dave Anthony to share Ryan’s story and describe her efforts to secure her husband’s release. She explained how the outgoing Biden White House failed to secure a recent deal to bring Ryan home but why she has renewed hope after traveling to Mar-a-Lago and meeting
with President-elect Trump’s National security adviser pick, Mike Waltz. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the
full interview. Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Anna Corbett,
allowing you to hear more about her husband’s story and the effort to get him out of an Afghanistan jail.
