My Opinion: The weapon of secrecy should be used as an exception, in a very few cases that really need it. The most of the FBI work and activities should be open to public scrutiny on a permanent basis.

Secrecy is a powerful weapon.

Why does the FBI think that they are entitled to it, and the regular police does without it, and nicely? Essentially, it is the same type of work.

Secrecy and the lack of the adequate records make the public control of the FBI activities difficult, if possible at all. And judging from what we know, the FBI are not saints at all.

My Opinion: The weapon of secrecy should be used as an exception, in a very few cases that really need it. The most of the FBI work and activities should be open to public scrutiny on a permanent basis.

The witch hunt on J6 investigators and prosecutors is clearly retaliatory and dictatorial. The conflict will take its course, and it already brought up important issues regarding the specifics of the FBI work which need public attention and discussion.

AZAL plane shot down by Russian air defense, the question now is who ordered the strike, expert says

The AZAL passenger aircraft on the Baku-Grozny route that crashed near Aktau on December 25 last year was definitely hit by Russian air defense systems, Talgat Kaliyev, director of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research LLP, said in an interview with Report.

Today, one of the main questions in the joint investigation is who made the decision to open fire on a civilian aircraft and how could it have been mistaken for a UAV?

The investigation itself will take considerable time, Kaliyev noted. But preliminary results will be announced soon.

“Both Azerbaijani and Russian sides are actively participating in the process. Kazakhstan’s task is to coordinate the investigation and preserve all elements of the crashed aircraft’s fuselage, which has been ensured,” Kaliyev noted.

He reminded that Russia does not deny the fact that the airliner was hit by air defense systems.

“Specifically hit, not shot down. There was no malicious intent. The question is who failed to distinguish between a UAV and a civilian aircraft, and who made the decision to open fire on a passenger plane,” the agency’s interviewee said.

“Kazakhstan, as the head of the international state commission investigating the air crash near Aktau, is behaving as professionally and correctly as possible. This is expressed in its impartiality and transparency of all activities,” Kaliyev said.

The political scientist recalled that the main evidence of this is Kazakhstan’s decision to transfer the flight recorders to Brazil – the manufacturer country of the crashed Embraer aircraft – for decoding. Representatives from both Azerbaijan and Russia are participating in the decoding of the records.

Protests erupt in Azerbaijani village after police car fatally hits 2 children
Mass protests have erupted in the Azerbaijani district of Imishli after a police car hit four schoolchildren in the village of Yalavaj, killing two.The accident took place on Saturday afternoon, after which a crowd reportedly gathered around the police car and smashed it, prompting clashes with the police. In response, the Ministry of Internal Affairs published a video of the accident, which was reportedly manipulated in order to hide that the police car had been speeding. The Internal Ministry also opened a criminal case against those accused of causing additional damage to the police car.The Interior Ministry launched a separate case against the protesters, with state media reporting on 18 January that the authorities arrested group of people who had ‘committed hooliganism at the site of a fatal traffic accident in the Imishli district.’According to information from the district, mass detentions took place overnight in Imishli after Azerbaijan reportedly deployed internal troops, a gendarmerie-like force,  in the district and introduced a special control regime. On 19 January, Oxu, a pro-government news outlet, published a photo of those arrested from the district. RFE/RL cited a local source as saying that over 100 people were detained, with some of them being briefly apprehended in their homes at night.Imishli’s Prosecutor’s Office has launched a criminal investigation into the car accident itself as a traffic violation.Over the weekend, social media users reportedly identified the driver of the car as police officer Ulvi Ahmadov, the nephew of former MP Ahad Ahmadov. In response to these accusations, pro-government media reported that a second driver in a Mercedes was the guilty party.According to Qafqazinfo, a Mercedes with the state registration number 30-BH-904, but no license plate, drove in front of the police car, causing it to crash into the schoolchildren. They added that the driver of the car was Baylar Bayramov, born in 2008, and that the car belonged to Bayramov’s uncle.Deadly Azerbaijan Airlines crash sheds light on twin crises of migrant labour, border closureThe majority of victims were Azerbaijani citizens going to Russia for work.OC MediaAytan Farhadova

It was noted that the main goal of the draft law is to curb potential risks in the sector without inhibiting innovations. According to the authors, the scope of regulation of the draft law will include the public offering of crypto-assets, services, and trade. The participants of the consultation emphasized the importance of disclosing the necessary information in the case of the sale of crypto-assets, noting that “access permission” will be considered mandatory for the provision of services. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of regulating the sector and instructed to finalize the draft law as a result of another discussion and submit it for approval by the Government. The Prime Minister noted that the law will be continuously improved in the future, as necessary.
Opinion: ‘Trump administration likely to take tougher stance on Georgian Dream’
Republicans to have tougher stance toward Georgian Dream Political analyst and former diplomat Valeri Chechelashvili told PalitraNews that the Republican administration is likely to adopt a tougher stance toward Georgian Dream than the Democrats. Chechelashvili emphasized that unless Georgian Dream clearly articulates its own vision for finding compromises in its relations with the U.S., a “reset” of their ties is unlikely. He also pointed out that the absence of any invitations to Georgian Dream representatives for Trump’s inauguration signals that the ruling party is not working effectively with Washington. John Herbst: ‘Georgian Dream is discredited—we see submission to Moscow’s demands’ “U.S.-Georgia relations are moving steadily in the wrong direction,” What did Valeri Chechelashvili say? “I expect the new [Trump] administration to adopt a tougher policy toward Georgian Dream than the Democrats. Of course, we must fully understand the objective fact that Georgia is not among the top priorities on the U.S. agenda. However, if the U.S. seeks a quick geopolitical or foreign policy victory with minimal resources, Georgia could be the place to achieve it. The Georgian public is ready for this, expecting support from the U.S. Such a move would strengthen U.S. influence not only in Georgia but across the entire South Caucasus. Additionally, it would deal a significant blow to those regional or geopolitical competitors whom America considers adversaries. Salome Zourabichvili‘s visit to the U.S. was quite successful. Notably, she met with Marco Rubio, the incoming Secretary of State. According to Rubio, they discussed the possibility of a more substantive and extended meeting once he assumes office. The fact that no Republicans saw fit to invite representatives of Georgian Dream to Trump’s inauguration indicates that the ruling party is not working effectively with Washington. Perhaps they are focusing on lobbying organizations. But lobbying, even though permitted in the U.S., still has its limitations. If ‘Georgian Dream’ bases its policies on values and principles alien to the U.S., no amount of money spent on lobbyists will allow them to effectively represent the party’s interests in Washington. Such actions would only damage ‘Dream’s’ political reputation. The reality is that the Georgian opposition is well-represented in Washington, while Georgian Dream is not.” “Georgia can be a U.S. success or a Caucasus problem,” Salome Zourabichvili on Fox News Zourabichvili: “The current rulers lack legitimacy and should not be recognized. Partners are ready to help with new elections.” On January 18, Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zourabichvili, attended a U.S. Republican Party meeting ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration, following an invitation from Trump Jr. During the event, she met with members of the incoming administration, including Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth. Zourabichvili announced that U.S. partners are ready to assist Georgia in holding new parliamentary elections. The October 26 parliamentary elections triggered widespread protests across Georgia. Four opposition groups that secured parliamentary seats—three coalitions and one party—unanimously alleged mass election fraud, refused to recognize the parliament’s legitimacy and declined their mandates. President Zourabichvili also denounced the elections as fraudulent and declared the new parliament illegitimate, along with its decisions. She pledged to remain in office until new elections are held, enabling a lawful transfer of power. On November 28, Georgian Dream Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the suspension of EU accession talks until 2028, further intensifying protests. Tens of thousands of demonstrators have demanded protection of the constitution’s commitment to European integration and the immediate organization of new parliamentary elections. Zourabichvili is set to attend President Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20. Republicans to have tougher stance toward Georgian Dream

Journalists in Azerbaijan face trials, jailings, travel bans
Michael_Novakhov shared this story from Voice of America. An Azerbaijani court on Friday denied petitions by two jailed journalists to be released from house arrest, their lawyers said. The journalists, Aynur Elgunesh and Natig Javadli, work for Meydan TV, an independent outlet based in Germany. They were among six journalists arrested in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, in early December. Azerbaijan is among the worst jailers of journalists in the world, with more than a dozen behind bars, according to a report released this week by the Committee to Protect Journalists, or CPJ. Azerbaijan is currently detaining at least 18 journalists for their work, according to CPJ. The group’s latest prison census, which acts as a snapshot of media workers in custody as of Dec. 1, listed 13 journalists in the Azerbaijani prison. One of those was released after the census was taken, but authorities then jailed six more journalists, including Elgunesh and Javadli. The arrests are a concern for local activists and reporters. “Independent and critical media in Azerbaijan is going through its most difficult period,” Azerbaijani activist Samir Kazimli told VOA. “If this policy of repression does not stop, if it continues, independent media in Azerbaijan may completely collapse.” The annual CPJ report found 361 journalists behind bars around the world. Azerbaijan ranked eighth worst in the census, behind countries such as China, Israel, Myanmar, Belarus and Russia. “Azerbaijan has been cracking down on independent media for well over a decade,” CPJ’s CEO, Jodie Ginsberg, told VOA. “It doesn’t often get the attention that it deserves.” Local journalists like Shamshad Agha are worried that Azerbaijani authorities are trying to stamp out independent media. Agha is editor of Argument.az, a news website covering democracy, corruption and human rights. “The lives of all independent journalists are in danger,” he told VOA. Agha said he has been banned from leaving the country since July 2024. Azerbaijan’s Washington embassy did not immediately reply to VOA’s email requesting comment. Many of the journalists jailed in Azerbaijan are accused of foreign currency smuggling, which media watchdogs have rejected as a sham charge. Many of those currently detained work for the independent outlets Abzas Media and Meydan TV. Farid Mehralizada, an economist and journalist with the Azerbaijani Service of VOA’s sister outlet, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, is among those currently imprisoned. Jailed since May, Mehralizada is facing charges of conspiring to smuggle foreign currency, as well as “illegal entrepreneurship, money laundering, tax evasion and document forgery.” He denies the charges, which carry a combined sentence of up to 12 years behind bars. On Thursday, Ulviyya Guliyeva, a journalist who has been a contributor to VOA’s Azerbaijani Service since 2019, was summoned to a police station in Baku for questioning. The journalist said she was questioned about Meydan TV, even though she is not an employee there. Guliyeva said she was also placed under a travel ban that blocked her from leaving the country. “This is a very disturbing situation for me,” Guliyeva said. “I see this as pressure on my journalistic activities.” Parvana Bayramova of VOA’s Azerbaijani Service contributed to this report.

Ukraine uses three-phase strategy to hit crucial Russian military sites from Saratov to Tatarstan
#Kanal13 #likekanal13 #subscribekanal13 #warinukrainehttps://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1 – SUBSCRIBE TO US!Ukraine intensified its series of deep strikes into Russian territory, continuing a calculated campaign to dismantle Moscow’s logistical and operational capabilities. According to Euromaidan Press media outlet, dealing devastating damage to critical infrastructure, these precision operations aim to weaken Russia’s ability to sustain its war effort. It is noted that the target of the first attack was the Engels Air Base in the Saratov Oblast. According to the latest reports, the fire has already destroyed three massive fuel tanks and damaged six more, holding over one million cubic meters of fuel.Engels is a vital hub for Russian strategic aviation and has now been targeted twice by Ukrainian forces, with the latest strike igniting an inferno that has been burning for almost a week. This base serves as a launch point for long-range bombers involved in missile attacks on Ukraine, making it a priority target for the Ukrainian armed forces. The destruction of fuel depots at Engels, which support these bombers, has created logistical challenges, severely disrupting Russian air operations. Russian emergency services have struggled to contain the blaze for over five days, underscoring the scale of the destruction. This operation exemplifies Ukraine’s ability to reach deep into Russian territory and target assets critical to Moscow’s war machine.Euromaidan Press says that to achieve this goal and ensure the maximum level of destruction, Ukrainians utilized a three-phase strategy. First, a general drone strike was launched to trigger and identify air defense positions and establish precise flight patterns. Second, pinpoint strikes neutralized these defenses, and finally, the main blow was delivered against high-value targets under clear skies. The second and third strikes in the Ukrainian campaign exemplify this strategy with attacks on Taganrog and Millerovo airfields in the Rostov Oblast. Ukrainian drones overwhelmed Russian air defenses, forcing them to engage and reveal their positions. This preliminary phase was followed by targeted strikes that destroyed critical air defense systems, such as the Pantsir-S1, S-300, and Buk-M1 units. By disabling these defenses, Ukraine ensured unimpeded access for subsequent strikes on vital targets. The same methodology was employed in the next strike in Rostov, where drones overloaded Russian air defense, followed by a direct hit by a Neptune missile delivering a devastating blow against a warehouse with reconnaissance drones that correct enemy strikes on Ukrainian cities and the front line. Ukrainian forces also struck the naval base in Novorossiysk in a daring drone operation, which is home to elements of the Black Sea Fleet. Though details of the damage remain unclear, the attack signals Ukraine’s intent to continue tormenting the Russian naval dominance in the Black Sea. Finally, a significant blow was also dealt in Tatarstan, where a drone strike ignited a massive fire at the Taneco oil refinery. This facility is a crucial component of Russia’s energy infrastructure, and the damage further strains Moscow’s ability to sustain its war economy.Overall, these strikes serve clear strategic and operational goals. By targeting logistical hubs, airfields, command posts, and key infrastructure, Ukraine seeks to degrade Russia’s ability to wage war effectively.http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join – click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalismhttp://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19FdyClick here and just subscribe to Kanal13 – https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join*ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/http://www.facebook.com/tvkanal13https://twitter.com/Kanal13Azhttps://www.instagram.com/kanal13.azClick & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel© KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of AzerbaijanTags: #Ukriane, #Russia, #Putin, #Putler, #Russian invasion of Ukraine, #Zelenski, #Kiev, #Kyiv, #Kadirov army, #Kadirov, #Kherson, #Bucha, #Kharkiv, #Ukrainian pilots, #vagners, #Russian tanks, #NATO, #drones, #Moscow, #Kreml, #war victims #Ukraina, News, The Washington Post, waPo Video, Washington Post Video, Washington Post YouTube, a:politics, aid, biden, putin, s:Politics, support, t:Other, Ukraine, war, fact check, news coverage, Donald Trump, news, wp video, forbes, nytimes, newspaper, media, journalism, Ilham Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan, Israel, Gaza, Palestine, Tel-Aviv, Garabag, Karabakh, football, ronaldo, messi, brian tyler cohen

Russian troops and North Korean servicemen routinely execute wounded DPRK soldiers in Kursk
#Kanal13 #likekanal13 #subscribekanal13 #warinukrainehttps://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1 – SUBSCRIBE TO US!Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that a third of the military that the DPRK sent to the Kursk region have already been killed or wounded. In particular, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, head of the Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Center, confirmed such data.At the same time, this does not indicate that North Korean troops are not “serious warriors,” says Ukrainian military officer Volodymyr Demchenko. According to him, they have “impeccable marksmanship training,” writes Forbes. The publication recalled that North Korean soldiers launched their first attacks in Kursk in December, marching across snow-covered fields to shell Ukrainian positions. Despite heavy losses from Ukrainian mines, artillery, and drones, North Korean troops continued their offensive.”Infantry attacks, mostly without armor support, are not a uniquely North Korean phenomenon. Ukrainian drones are everywhere at all times, making it virtually impossible for Russian and North Korean vehicles to break through cover. According to one Russian blogger, tanks “just don’t make it to the line to launch an attack.” They are shot at by drones from miles away,” Forbes adds.In turn, it is the infantry that bears the brunt of the fighting. In particular, more than 200 North Koreans were killed or wounded during the first assault in the Kursk region.”One failed assault earlier this month could have resulted in 400 Russian casualties on the ground. By mid-January, 3,800 of the 12,000 troops in the North Korean 11th Army Corps had been killed, wounded or – much less likely – captured,” the experts analyzed. At the same time, Zelensky noted that the small number of DPRK soldiers captured by Ukrainian soldiers shows the ruthlessness of the combined Russian-North Korean army.”Russian troops and other North Korean servicemen routinely execute their wounded in order to erase any evidence of North Korea’s participation in the war against Ukraine,” the head of state said.Demchenko also said that wounded North Koreans sometimes kill themselves right on the battlefield.”These are extremely hardened types who, when wounded, act according to one plan: pull the pin, put the grenade to the head and good night,” the soldier added. However, North Korean losses could have been greater if they had not had good marksmanship training. Compared to the poorly trained Russian occupiers, the DPRK infantryman spends years preparing for war, Forbes emphasized.“This is evidenced by the statistics of small drones destroyed by them,” Demchenko noted. The publication concluded that the DPRK’s 11th Army Corps, which is one-third depleted, may need reinforcements: “It is unclear whether Pyongyang has committed to deploying more troops. But the North Korean regime certainly intends to do so. Moscow is reportedly trading key military technology in exchange for additional manpower.”http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join – click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalismhttp://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19FdyClick here and just subscribe to Kanal13 – https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join*ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/http://www.facebook.com/tvkanal13https://twitter.com/Kanal13Azhttps://www.instagram.com/kanal13.azClick & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel© KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of AzerbaijanTags: #Ukriane, #Russia, #Putin, #Putler, #Russian invasion of Ukraine, #Zelenski, #Kiev, #Kyiv, #Kadirov army, #Kadirov, #Kherson, #Bucha, #Kharkiv, #Ukrainian pilots, #vagners, #Russian tanks, #NATO, #drones, #Moscow, #Kreml, #war victims #Ukraina, News, The Washington Post, waPo Video, Washington Post Video, Washington Post YouTube, a:politics, aid, biden, putin, s:Politics, support, t:Other, Ukraine, war, fact check, news coverage, Donald Trump, news, wp video, forbes, nytimes, newspaper, media, journalism, Ilham Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan, Israel, Gaza, Palestine, Tel-Aviv, Garabag, Karabakh, football, ronaldo, messi, brian tyler cohen
War in Ukraine reduced Russian provinces to beggars, public anger against Putin's rule grows
#Kanal13 #likekanal13 #subscribekanal13 #warinukrainehttps://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1 – SUBSCRIBE TO US!While the Kremlin spends billions of dollars on the war against Ukraine, Russian regions are living in poverty. Outside Moscow and some other major Russian cities, there is no healthcare, no roads, no gas supply. The scandalous Russian State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulev spoke frankly about this on the air of the propaganda talk show “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”,Gurulev visited his small homeland in Transbaikalia and “saw the light”. He suddenly discovered that Russia is a poor and backward country.” I just returned from my native Transbaikalia. We have a village called Gazimursky Zavod. There are a lot of people who have come here, but there is no medicine. Three sheds from 1929 and a Soviet barrack-type building called a district hospital. Of the 22 doctors, only 8 are available. Maternity hospitals have been cut everywhere! Here, taking a woman from there to the maternity hospital is the same as taking her from Penza to Moscow… It’s because of the distance… Everything is frozen there – it’s called “winter asphalt”. In March, everything will peel off after the sun. And who are you going to take along these potholes? To have an appendectomy, you have to drive 6 hours along the gullies! Unfortunately, this is not only in Transbaikalia. This is a global problem ,” Gurulev said. He also admitted that in its aggression against Ukraine, the Kremlin relied on the impoverished population of the Russian hinterland. It was they who were thrown en masse to the front in the “meat assaults.” ” You come to a village of 350-400 people. How many are in the “SVO”? 50-55 people. Imagine the percentage! Serious, extremely serious… There is no gas, nothing! ” – said the Russian deputy. The Russian economy has been financing a full-scale war against Ukraine for three years. Military spending has spun up the inflation flywheel, drained labor resources, and taken away most of the reserves that were accumulated in peacetime. For Russia, three years of war means three years of living under the harsh sanctions of the West. Despite Russia’s efforts to circumvent the sanctions pressure, the latter is taking its toll and, along with high defense spending, is gradually undermining the aggressor country’s economy. The non-military sector of the Russian economy cannot produce enough goods to meet demand and absorb the significant amount of money that is being pumped into the economy. This is happening amid the shortage of labor resources that were taken away for the war. Because of mobilization, some people left the country in 2022. Sanctions are also having an impact, and as a result, a large number of Western companies in Russia have closed their offices and left the country.http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join – click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalismhttp://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19FdyClick here and just subscribe to Kanal13 – https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join*ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/http://www.facebook.com/tvkanal13https://twitter.com/Kanal13Azhttps://www.instagram.com/kanal13.azClick & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel© KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of AzerbaijanTags: #Ukriane, #Russia, #Putin, #Putler, #Russian invasion of Ukraine, #Zelenski, #Kiev, #Kyiv, #Kadirov army, #Kadirov, #Kherson, #Bucha, #Kharkiv, #Ukrainian pilots, #vagners, #Russian tanks, #NATO, #drones, #Moscow, #Kreml, #war victims #Ukraina, News, The Washington Post, waPo Video, Washington Post Video, Washington Post YouTube, a:politics, aid, biden, putin, s:Politics, support, t:Other, Ukraine, war, fact check, news coverage, Donald Trump, news, wp video, forbes, nytimes, newspaper, media, journalism, Ilham Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan, Israel, Gaza, Palestine, Tel-Aviv, Garabag, Karabakh, football, ronaldo, messi, brian tyler cohen

Russian soldiers choose to surrender to Ukrainians, desert to avoid involvement in Kursk battle
#Kanal13 #likekanal13 #subscribekanal13 #warinukrainehttps://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1 – SUBSCRIBE TO US!The Russian military police are searching for a group of their soldiers in the Kursk region. According to the official version, six soldiers escaped, taking their uniforms and weapons with them. This was reported by the Russian resource ASTRA, citing sources in the emergency services of the Kursk region. The incident happened at the beginning of the month in the village of Kurilovka, in the Kursk region. ” On January 7, commanders checked personnel in the area of the village of Kurilovka and found six people missing. It is unknown when exactly they escaped. All those who escaped belong to the same unit 87852, based in Dagestan… They are searching for those who escaped ,” the resource reported. He specified that all those who escaped fought as part of the assault company “V”. The soldiers disappeared along with their machine guns.It is important to note that Kurilovka is located right on the demarcation line in the Sudzhansky district of Kursk. The Ukrainian Defense Forces were actively advancing there in early January, which is probably what caused the disappearance of the Russian Armed Forces stormtroopers. It is possible that they were captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces or were eliminated in battle, and the Russians recognized them as deserters in order to avoid paying compensation to their relatives. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their combat mission in Kursk region to hold part of the enemy territory in their hands. On January 16, the press service of the Ukrainian Airborne Forces shared information that 27 enemy soldiers were captured in Kursk region. The source writes that this concerns not only sergeants, but also Putin’s officers. Moreover, these are both enemy paratroopers and representatives of the motorized regiments of the Russian Armed Forces. They surrendered themselves so as not to die for Putin. They were immediately given first aid. The paratroopers are calling on other Putin soldiers to surrender without a fight in order to save their lives. Meanwhile, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War report that as of January 15, Putin’s army has not advanced in Kursk region. One of the Russian war correspondents stated that Makhnovka is not under the full control of the Russian Armed Forces. Also, ISW did not find any visual confirmation that Putin’s army is in full control of Cherkasskoye Porechnoyehttp://youtube.com/kanal13az/join – click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalismhttp://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19FdyClick here and just subscribe to Kanal13 – https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13az?sub_confirmation=1https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join*ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/http://www.facebook.com/tvkanal13https://twitter.com/Kanal13Azhttps://www.instagram.com/kanal13.azClick & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel© KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of AzerbaijanTags: #Ukriane, #Russia, #Putin, #Putler, #Russian invasion of Ukraine, #Zelenski, #Kiev, #Kyiv, #Kadirov army, #Kadirov, #Kherson, #Bucha, #Kharkiv, #Ukrainian pilots, #vagners, #Russian tanks, #NATO, #drones, #Moscow, #Kreml, #war victims #Ukraina, News, The Washington Post, waPo Video, Washington Post Video, Washington Post YouTube, a:politics, aid, biden, putin, s:Politics, support, t:Other, Ukraine, war, fact check, news coverage, Donald Trump, news, wp video, forbes, nytimes, newspaper, media, journalism, Ilham Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan, Israel, Gaza, Palestine, Tel-Aviv, Garabag, Karabakh, football, ronaldo, messi, brian tyler cohen

When the announcement came that COP29 will be held in Baku in 2024, the immediate reaction in the climate community was “again?!

Azerbaijan is KGB petrostate:

AI Overview
Yes, Azerbaijan is often considered a “petrostate” due to its significant oil and gas reserves, which form the backbone of its economy, and is sometimes labeled as a “KGB state” because of the long-standing influence of the former Soviet intelligence agency, particularly through the leadership of former KGB official Heydar Aliyev, who was the father of the current president, Ilham Aliyev.

Key points about Azerbaijan as a “KGB petrostate”:
  • Dominant Oil and Gas Industry:
A large portion of Azerbaijan’s revenue comes from its oil and gas exports, making it heavily reliant on these resources.

  • Political Legacy of KGB:
Heydar Aliyev, who ruled Azerbaijan during the Soviet era, was a high-ranking KGB official, and his political influence continues to be felt through his son, Ilham Aliyev.

  • Criticisms of Authoritarianism:
Azerbaijan is often criticized for its human rights record and lack of political pluralism, which are sometimes linked to the legacy of the Soviet system.

My
#Opinion: Azeri-stan is the #KGB #petrostate, #Aliyev is the skillful KGB Petro-ruler with the #global ambitions.
He has only one loyalty: to himself, to his family which he tries to turn into the royalty, and to his stolen hundreds of $ Millions.
His KGB rule is worse than in Soviet times: it is brazen, oppressive, omnipresent, primitive, stupid, duplicitous, and nauseating.
It smells beyond the oil and gas, it smells like shit, and it suffocates everything around them.
Regime change, now!
