Explosion rocks Moscow region railway station, Ukrainian intel reveals details

An explosion occurred at a railway station in the Moscow region on December 27, destroying train cars used by the Russian army, reports the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

According to intelligence, at 1:00 a.m. on December 27, an explosion occurred at a railway station in the town of Voskresensk in the Moscow region. The blast destroyed freight train cars that Russia used to support the logistics of its occupying forces.

The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that the extent of the damage inflicted on the aggressor is being assessed.

Ukrainian intelligence also emphasized that Russian propaganda is attempting to conceal the truth about the incident.

“Judging by the fervor of Russian propaganda, which, in an effort to hide the aftermath of the explosion, is falsely claiming there was no fire at the Voskresensk rail depot, the fear among Kremlin leaders of internal resistance to Putin’s regime and a loss of control within the country is growing significantly,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that recently, in the Russian city of Novosibirsk, the resistance movement destroyed fuel tankers at a military base. Partisans set the equipment on fire.

Additionally, RBC-Ukraine previously reported that agents of the ATESH movement carried out a sabotage operation on a railway in Moscow. The railway connects the Russian capital with the Kursk region.
