Several buildings are destroyed by a series of huge explosions in a densely-populated area in Lebanon’s capital; Iran describes the attack as ‘a game changing escalation’. Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to keep fighting Hezbollah, telling world leaders at the UN General Assembly ‘We are winning’. Now, with mortgage rates starting to dip slightly, some question if that same investor love could be coming to the housing market, which has been lackluster this summer due to heightened mortgages, sticky inflation, and of course high interest rates.
